I want to become a photographer... where do I start?!?

My school does not have a photography class due to the cost of the equipment, plus we don't have any open classrooms, or anyone to teach it! I've gotten information packets from tons of summer photography programs, but they're like $3000 for 2 weeks, and I certainly can't afford that. Is there any way I can learn more about photography without it being so expensive? I'm 15, I think I'm okay at photography so far, but I really need to learn the techniques and styles of photography, and I think I could be really good if I got some instruction.
Thanks for the help!

Here's a few of my photos:

Go to your local library and check out some photography books on composition, exposure & lighting. What kind of photography are you planning to do, industrial, portraits, landscape or something else? Check out some books specific to the type of photography you want to do. That's a very inexpensive way to learn a lot.
Couldn't see your pics without a password so I have no comment on them.
