my printer has full ink cartridges of every color, yet all of my pictures are green?

my printer is a hp photosmart c7280 all-in-one and the screen in the front claims that every ink cartridge is full. however, when i try to print pictures, especially the browns, print off looking green. what is a potential problem/solution here? im trying to print invites for a party so i will happily reward the first helpful answer with the 10 points.

Just a thought, I know I did it with my HP printer a few times, check to make sure there's no protective cellophane on the head of the magenta (red) cartridge that would prevent ink from hitting paper.
