Help with printer problems: cartridge errors!?
I'm using a Dell Photo AIO Printer 924, and I get an error saying that there is still tape on the cartridge, when there obviously isn't. it will print with some tinkering, but the cartridges need to be aligned.
Does anyone know how to fix this? There's no information on the troubleshooter or anything.

This common error can be caused by a range of different factors. Here are a few things to try:
* Check to see cartridges are correctly installed.
* Remove cartridges from machine.
*Grab a "Clean and lint free cloth" moisten with some methylated spirits (I.P.A, etc).
* Wipe the contacts and print head on the cartridge to clear any blocked / dirty contacts.
* Repeat the above step to clean the contacts inside the machine (Where the cartridges are inserted).
*Run the maintenance options "From your computer" (Via the installed software).
Note: If the problem persists you may have a faulty / dead cartridge (This will need to be replaced).
