i have a green circle undey my eye its basically my vein but so visible looks like i got punched, any help?
i get the sleep i need i sleep more than 7 or 8 hours and im still 17years old male, so i dont get how this annoying thing pops up its my vein i think but so visible in a circular shape under my eye as if i got knocked out in a boxing match! any suggestions or remedies to remove the visibility?
Oh, I know these things are so annoying. First of all, as horrible as they look, they do not usually indicate a serious health problem although you should definitely check with your doctors (primary doctor AND eye doctor). they could be caused by allergies, thin skin or genetics (yes... they tend to run in families...)
Simple things you can try at home provided that your health care provider rules out other health conditions (Iron Deficiency Anemia is a big one that you need to be checked for!):
1. Drink enough water-sometimes circles under the eye could be a sign of dehydration!
2. Wear a sunscreen (at least SPF 30) under the eyes to prevent skin weakening caused by sun damage.
3. Apply plain cool teabags over closed eyes, it helps sometimes!
4. You seem to be getting enough sleep, which is crucial!
