Help identifying an old (maybe antique) grooming tool?
I recently purchased an item at an estate sale that looks like a cross between a pair of scissors and a pair of tweezers. There is a patent date of May 22, 1900. There is one round "scissor" handle and the other handle (that fits nicely in hand) is wooden with a sterling silver decorative piece. It seems to be some type of tweezers? I can't find anything online to help me identity this item. Can anyone tell me what this is? Thanks.
