dog agility rubber thickness?

hi, i'm going to put rubber in a dog daycare/training area and i was wondering what thickness is 'comfortable' enough for a good price.
The thicker you go, the more expensive... so what is an affordable yet good enough thickness? is 1/4inch ok? or 3/8inch? or 1/2 inch?

Hi there...
I've been to a lot of training arenas, etc. Most use a 1/4" thickness BUT since they so so, the jump the dogs at a lower height to avoid "hard" landings. If you are going to be training agility, remember that there are LARGE dogs and they require a more cushioned landing so the 3/8" is the BEST bet....However, having said that...as long as you keep the dogs jumping at lower heights (16" - certainly NO MORE than 22" - 16 being preferred in this case), a 1/4" matting should be sufficient.
Hope this was helpful.
