Please tell me measure of zoom and distance for taking personal photo with digital camera?
I want take personal photo from some one but Image must be 2 inch * 2 inch
The image must contain the full face, neck, and shoulders of the applicant in frontal view with a neutral, non-smiling expression and with eyes open and directed at the camera.
The image must not contain any parts of the body below the applicant's shoulder
The head height (measured from the top of the head, including the hair, to the bottom of the chin) must be between 50% and 69% of the image’s total height. The eye height (measured from the bottom of the image to the level of the eyes) should be between 56% and 69% of the image's height. The diagram below shows these measurements on a correctly-proportioned image
You are obviously taking a passport picture.
Some digital cameras (e.g. Casio) offer a setting just for that purpose. Since you will not be printing the picture too large, most digital cameras can do the job if you allow enough space to crop them properly.
Here is what I do:
1. Take the picture allowing much more space than needed (I shoot from head to waist, allowing 25% of space above the head to allow for space to print)
2. Download the passport diagram from the Internet. and print a copy to use as an overlay.
3. Use Photoshop (or any other imaging program) to make a copy of the exact proportions and finished size specified from the diagram.
4. Open your picture in the same imaging program and reduce to fit over the overlay you have previously opened (you will need to resize the image to fit).
5. Print the image, (after removing the diagram image layer).
6. Cut the picture to meet the size requirements.
