What if I leave the keikis on the orchid... then what will happen?
Hey, a few months ago, I was pleased to find that my orchid was putting out a flower shoot... it's just about to bloom, and I've just discovered a second flower shoot, and I'm very happy.
This orchid grew a large keiki last year, and I took it off and mounted it on a slab... and now it's growing another one... What will happen if I just leave it there? Will it continue growing fine... maybe flower? What?
They will just grow on top of each other. If you want to maintain the size of the Denbrobium, (I'm guessing), then snip it off and mount it. If you want it to reach specimen size I would leave it. Is it making any new growth from the bottom?
