You could say something like "How has caring for a mentally retarded (handicapped) person changed from the 1960's to now?" "Why did the Doctor feel it was the right to give up his daughter and how did his decision affect his life later on?" "If you were in the position of the nurse, would you have done the same thing by keeping the baby?"
This book was horrible and made me angry reading it. I understand that the author was trying to convey hurt and pain and emotion but the book dragged on and on and on.
Every person in the book came across a selfish because they did not consider anyone else's feelings.
