I really want to pick up a new hobby/craft i can start doing in my free time? Any ideas would be appreciated?

What is is YOU enjoy doing? I have a very very crafty family and they are always going and renting tables at craft fairs making cards and big time stampin up people. So i dont really want to do that. I use to make candles however with a new young baby i do not want to get into that mess again nor can i really afford all the stuff to start that hobby again. I quickly learn new things so any ideas on what i should start doing and also be able to sell at crafts fairs?

Select and sand a small piece of scrap wood with an interesting shape and ring pattern. Paint every ring a different color, I prefer neons, but pastels are also good. Finish with epoxy, the 2-ton glue works great. Leave the knots uncolored, they don't take paint well, anyway. You can add glitter to the epoxy for added effect. They are absolutely hypnotic, everyone will be impressed. Start small, the work is tedious. Applying epoxy takes practice, but it is far superior and quicker than anything else. Apply it using one rubber glove finger.
