How do you make a backpack out of paper (like a craft)?

Okay, so I'm doing this project in which I need to make a backpack (preferably made of paper) that can hold items inside of it. I want it to be creative - not just an envelope with straps. Any ideas as to how I should go about doing this?

Well if you want it to be 2-D, just use construction paper. If not, just listen to the other answers. If 2-D's okay, here's what you do:
Fold a large piece of construction paper in half and then cut a pattern of a backpack out so that you have 2 identical pieces. Cut an arch into one of the pieces, but leave one side attatched so that you can fold it down. Tape the 2 pieces of construction paper together, so that there's a backing behind the cut out arch. Decorate and you have a 2-D backpack which you can put stuff in (although I suggest the items should be paper too).
