Where can I find big note piano sheet music with intermediate pieces?
My great-grandmother can't see as well as she used to and when she can't play the piano it makes her sad. She's sort of... Senile now? So I'm going to be spending a lot of time there so I wanted to try and find some big note sheet music for her. The problem is, most of the big note sheet music is for beginners. I could always put it into photoshop and enlarge it but I would much rather have it premade, free online or a physical store. I planned on going to a music store soon, I just haven't had a chance.
a really good site for good music (of all levels) is free-scores.com
it is an amazing site for free sheet music (and unlike one of the posters, it is legal. you can get free sheet music legally online. don't listen to them.)
when you first arrive to the site, it will be in French, but at the upper right hand corner there are two flags (the American flag and UK flag. click on them and the language will change to English). on the main page, it says browse free sheet music. it lets you look for sheet music based of criteria you give it (e.g. type of music, instrument, and if you click the "extended criteria" button by the go button before you search, you can limit the search even more to intermediate pieces).
this site lets you download free sheet music, usually as a PDF. when it downloads, you can change the percentage size to whatever you want. the only problem you will face is how it prints. if you can figure out how to make all the music print at around 125% then this is an amazing site. good luck and best wishes to your great-grandmother. i was in the same situation you are in now, so i know what it is like.
