I'm incredibly uncomfortable with my pale skin tone -- help?
I'm pretty sure I have almost no melanin in my skin - I'm literally almost colorless. If I'm out in the sun for more than ten minutes without sunscreen, I burn and peel, making it virtually impossible to enjoy any time outside. I also have a lot of freckles, which I'm also uncomfortable with. My arms have been tan for years with a lot of freckles, and my face and shoulder have a little bit of color too, making me look like I have a massive farmer's tan, which just adds to the torture of my skin color. I wish I could wear shorts and dresses comfortably -- I might be able to accept my white skin if I didn't have a farmer's tan, but I can't seem to get rid of it. I've tried spray tans and rub ons, and they just make me look orange for about a day (I am on swim team so it wears off everyday). Well, could anybody offer any help?
Going out in the sun will just make you get more freckles,so wear a sunblock if you decide to go play in a pool or whatever else.
As for tanning,maybe you haven't found the right spray on tan....browse th Internet and get reviews for some spray on tan products.
