How to get a stamp off chairs?

I have chairs in my store that have a white nextel stamp on them the chairs are black i need to remove the stamp. Ive herd sugar cubes will work any ideas? other than painting them or getting new chairs?

Are you meaning an ink stamp?

I have been very fortunate to remove all kinds of stains with using ammonia.

Put full strength on a rag and apply. Let it sit for a few minutes, or in this case you may want to rub it a bit.
I know this works with many many surfaces and stains. The smell is strong but not for long...Open a window.
