Is it ok to mail a 90 cent stamp instead of a 27 cent stamp for the us?

The 90 cent stamp is a us stamp for europe, I have no 27 stamp and the post office is closed and I need to mail it tomorrow. I know it is a lot more thna needed but have no toher option since I live in the country and with gas prices it will cost me more to travel 2 to the post office than just use these 90 cent stamps.

It's perfectly fine as long as it's not less than the required postage.
