Information on renting an apartment?
Hi im 17 i live in south carolina and i have a 3 month old baby i was in school but i left because i was pregnant now that i have had my baby i am starting school back in january i just applied for an apartment where i have went threw the whole process its based on income i am receiving food stamp benefits and voluntary child support witch is 195.00 a month i have ben reading on the internet that you have to be 18 to sign a contract they did a background and credit check on me and i had no background and no credit so i needed a cosigner i got a cosigner with good credit so that approved me for that my question is if i cant sign an contract until im 18 why are they taking me threw the process?(im waiting to be approved by GEM Managements INC)

yes my cosigner is over 18
Is your co-signer 18 or over if so then that is why they are continuing to go through the process because both of your names will be on the leasing contract.
