Where would be best for me to move to? I work in Old Street EC1, have family in Cambridge & friends in Brixton
I live in Balham in a 1 bedroom flat but would like to move to a 2 bed flat somewhere still in London so that I can get a lodger. Although I like Balham apart from that I have friends in Brixton it's not conveniant for much else. I work in Old Street, so have about a 45 min commute on the Northern line. I go back to Cambridge a lot too, which at the moment meas driving all the way up through London to get to the M11. Everything points to me moving North of the river which is a shame as I love South London. Ideally I would find a location which I can travel easily to Old Street, Cambridge and Brixton! Any ideas? Would be great if I could avoid Northern line and get bus/train to work in the morning, but realise this might not be an option if I want to be able to get to Brixton easily too.
Friends can move on.
So can families.
Try and find something convenient for you.
You are bound to be stuck with the motorways if you go to Cambridge.
There is a travel website called something like meethalfway.com which is really for friends who live too far apart to be able to meet up 'midway'. You could try something like that to see what it throws up.
Without being selfish about it remind yourself that your comfort and wellbeing are important too !
