Help! I just got makeup....?

I normally just stick to wearing a bit of eye liner and mascara. So for Christmas i decided to get the sephora ultimate blockbuster palette! I opened it and was super excited to use it but then I realized I have no idea how to apply eye shadow!
If you have any tips that would be so great!

You have to experiment with different colors with whatever mood your in, and your eye color & skin tone

It's not that weird to match colors with your clothes, but remember anything that matches too muchh (like pink everything) is a fashion dontt!!

I wouldn't use the sponge type brushes (like the ones that come with the palette) they dont look very good. instead, go for a brush like this....

that blends much better.

Bold colors can be worn to school sometimes but make sure to keep the other makeup toned down (like dont weear bright lipstick or a lot of blush or something)

and as far as applying the eyeshadow..... just sweep the color from lashline to crease!!!!!
