How long will Barry Zito keep this up?
Right now I'd say Zito is the most important player on the Giants. You know what you're going to get with Cain, Lincecum, and Sanchez(Martinez thankfully called back) but Zito by far has been the hottest pitcher on the Giants and possibly in the NL. When it comes down to it, I'd say the Giants only hope of making Wildcard is for Zito to keep this up for the remainder of the season.
So, do you think he'll keep this up for his remaining starts?
LOL, sorry, I forgot to add the most important detail. I meant Zito was the hottest pitcher since the ALL-STAR break.
he can but he also needs run support. If you don't have run support, there is no way you can win. Hottest pitcher in NL? I think Lincecum, and Wainwright have something 2 say about that
